Sandler Trade Using New Media to Boost Kosovar Exports

As part of our ongoing export expansion consultancy with the Embassy of Kosovo, we have met with Washington-based wine reviewer Warren Richard about his upcoming July 27 tasting of two wines produced by StoneCastle Vineyards and Winery (http://www.stonecastle.com/en/).  Mr. Richard is an award-winning wine connoisseur with a blog that has almost 84,000 hits (www.virginiawinetime.com).

Stone Castle is on the largest wineries in south-eastern Europe and is a highly regarded success story of privatization in Kosovo since the company was purchased in 2006 by two Albanian brothers living in the United States.

Mr. Richard will also be tweeting his tasting on July 27 (@vawinetime) giving his first impressions of each wine as he tastes them.  This will be the first U.S. public tasting and review of a Kosovar wine and is a strong indication of the creative and committed approach taken by the Embassy of Kosovo to expand U.S. markets for Kosovar exports.  The event bodes well for the growth potential for StoneCastle and other Kosovar wines in the U.S. market.
